  • For partial SR2000 systems - An outrigger is required for partial systems (single spans).  The outrigger can be any size rail kit or the Low Profile Outrigger if space is limited.
  • Non penetrating design - Counterweight base keeps rail stable and able to withstand 200 lbs of horizontal force.
  • Worried about damage? - To minimize any scuffs or damage done to rooftops, consider the EPDM and BUR pads for added protection.

Description

Use at the beginning and end of a rail run

The LP Outrigger is specifically designed for use on partial guardrail systems where a complete perimeter is not necessary or required. Ideal for railing off a section of roof edge or when maneuvering around large obstacles. Use only when space is an issue and a standard rail section will not fit.

Sounds complicated? Its not - just setup an extra base at the beginning and end of each run. Any size rail kit can work as an outrigger. Use the Low Profile Outrigger when space is limited.

Outriggers may be required

Partial railing systems require an LP outrigger to be used on the beginning and end of each run (straight line) of railing - regardless of whether it is only one rail or 100. LP outriggers are ideal when a complete railing system is not necessary such as railing off a single 140 ft. roof edge. The Low Profile outrigger should only be used where a standard rail section will not suffice due to limited space. The Low Profile outrigger should not be used if it may cause a tripping hazard.
