Description
The Blocstop BSO is an automatic, fall-arrest secondary safety device which is fitted to the wire rope of a griphoist or tirak hoist.
The Blocstop BSO protects against hoist failure and, if mounted on a separate safety wire rope, against suspension wire rope failure. The Blocstop BSO is suitable to hold or restrain any loads during lifting and pulling applications. When in overspeed, the Blocstop BSO automatically engages and locks on wire rope. The BS/BSO for double rope suspension provides a locking device for the primary and secondary wire ropes.
