Drop-thru anchors are easy to install, reliable and can even be reused over and over again. Simply install the anchor upside down in a way that fixes the anchor in place while allowing the D-ring to hang from the ceiling. The 3M DBI-SALA drop-thru anchor can be installed directly into concrete ceilings or simply wedged into place. Installs into 1-1/2 in. to 1-3/4 in. dia. hole (38.1 to 44.5 mm) with a minimum thickness of 4 in. (101.6 mm) The anchor is intended for horizontal use from overhead concrete or steel. The drop-thru anchor is portable, easy to install and can be reused time and time again. Made from high strength steel components with anti-corrosion finish - this anchor is deigned to last a long long time. The cable is even partially shielded to protect the inner-workings from dust, grime and debris. The 360-degree swiveling d-ring allows for a user to connect to the anchor - allowing them to work safely at height without the worry or falls or injury.
